The Department of Economics at the University of North Texas invites applications for an assistant professor position beginning fall 2019. Candidates must either have a Ph.D. or provide evidence that they will have completed their Ph.D. by August 2019. Desired fields include the applied microeconomics and applied econometrics areas of labor, urban, public, regional, or environmental economics. Applicants must have a desire to excel in both research and teaching. Salary is competitive.
