Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Research Division is seeking to hire full-time research economists.

Suitable candidates will have expertise in theoretical or empirical research on monetary economics, open economy macroeconomics, financial stability, financial markets or banking. People applying for a senior position should have a solid research background in their field. People applying for a junior position need to have obtained a PhD in economics or finance, or be close to doing so.

Candidates are expected to produce high-quality research for publication in peer-reviewed journals and to provide policy support. The average distribution between research and policy work is 80/20 for junior researchers.

The Riksbank is an equal opportunity employer and offers a competitive compensation package. The working languages are English and Swedish. Proficiency in Swedish is not required.
