The Department of Economics of the University of Florida invites applications for a tenure track nine-month appointment at the Assistant Professor rank in the area of Econometrics to begin August 16, 2019. The ideal candidate should possess research and teaching expertise in econometric methods. The successful candidate is expected to engage in undergraduate, masters, and doctoral teaching and to conduct independent research leading to publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. Candidates with the willingness to work with big data are encouraged to apply. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefits package.

Qualifications
The candidate should possess strong empirical research skills in the field of econometrics in addition to excellent teaching credentials. Applicants must have their Ph.D. completed by August 2019.
