The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is seeking candidates for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor in Economics position for the Department of Economics and Finance starting in fall 2019.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate-level classes in economics with specializations in Macroeconomics and Business Economics, teaching managerial economics at the MBA level, and publishing in quality journals. Must demonstrate the ability to meet the research requirements for tenure and promotion in a program accredited by AACSB and engage in service activities in the department, college, and university levels.

Required qualifications include Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited university by appointment date and specialization in the micro-foundations of macroeconomics.
