Full Text of JOE Listing:

Rutgers University Center for State Health Policy (CSHP) seeks applicants for associate or full professor with deep expertise in major issues relevant to US state health policy. The successful candidate will be expected to advance a portfolio of research addressing significant state health policy challenges and assume active roles in the Center’s strategic planning and leadership. An earned doctoral degree in economics or other relevant discipline is required. The successful candidate will have strong empirical skills and theoretical grounding and a demonstrated record of success competing for federal or other substantial research grants. Experience in mentorship of junior faculty, staff, and students is strongly desired. The incumbent will work within CSHP, a unit of Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research and hold a tenured appointment in a Rutgers school or department. The CSHP and Institute offer a rich multidisciplinary environment with unique data resources, strong collaborative relationships with policymakers, and excellent research support infrastructure. Salary and rank will be commensurate with achievements and professional experience.
