The Department of Economics invites applications for multiple positions at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in all fields of Economics. Applicants whose research interests focus on Chinese economy, public economics, and macroeconomics are particularly welcomed. Salary is highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical/dental care, annual leave, and housing benefits, for eligible appointees. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract for appointment on contract terms. Teaching may be at the undergraduate, MSc. and Ph.D. levels.

Applicants must include a curriculum vitae, recent publications, and research papers. Junior and mid-career applicants should arrange for 3 letters of recommendation to be sent. For tenured positions, references will be solicited only after both sides agree to proceed with the process of appointment. Shortlisted junior and mid-career candidates will be interviewed during the ASSA meetings during January 4 - 6, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.
