The Program in Global and International Studies (GLIS) invites applications for a three-year non-tenure track position as Assistant Teaching Professor in Global Studies. The preferred start date for the position is August 2019, and the appointment may be renewed based on factors including positive performance reviews. Responsibilities include teaching 2 introductory courses per semester in GLIS, which constitutes 2/3 of the position. For the remaining 1/3 of the position, the faculty member will assist with programmatic activities including curriculum and course development, student programs, and others as assigned. Requirements include a Ph.D. in a Humanities or Social Science discipline at the time of appointment and teaching experience in global studies.
