The Stanford Center on Global Poverty and Development Postdoctoral Fellows program offers one-year (and will consider two-year) fellowships to outstanding new PhDs who have a demonstrated ability to generate high-quality, policy-relevant research on critical issues related to global development and poverty alleviation. The multi-disciplinary program offers a competitive stipend, as well as support for travel and research expenses. Postdoctoral Fellows have no teaching responsibilities and minimal administrative duties.

Applications for multi-disciplinary postdoctoral fellowships start summer/fall 2019 for one year (and will consider two years). The Center’s postdoctoral fellows program is intended for promising new and recent PhD recipients—coming from fields such as computer science, earth systems science, economics, engineering, health policy, political science, and sociology—to pursue policy-relevant research on topics related to critical issues for international development and poverty alleviation.

The Center’s postdoctoral fellows will be active members of the community of development researchers at Stanford University. The Center provides a competitive salary plus support for travel and research expenses.
