The Department of Food and Resource Economics at Korea University in South Korea invites applications for a renewable non-tenure or a tenure track position at the assistant/associate professor level starting on March 1, 2019. This position is available only for non-Korean applicants who must have a doctoral degree in agricultural economics or a closely related field. English proficiency is required for the applicants whose native language is not English. Primary duties include developing a prominent research program with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and contributing to the undergraduate and graduate programs through teaching and student advising. Korea University offers the appointee with a start-up research fund and a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications. In addition to fringe benefits, financial incentives will be awarded for publications in leading journals. Housing accommodation can be provided for the first periods.
