Luther College is an undergraduate liberal arts college in the beautiful driftless region of northeast Iowa. Our faculty and two thousand students are highly engaged in academics, research, music programs, athletics, sustainability and service. The Economics, Accounting and Management Department invite applications for an Assistant Professor of Economics. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or expect to complete all requirements by September 1, 2019. The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence, a research program compatible with undergraduate education, a commitment to mentoring and advising students, and a passion for the liberal arts. The ideal candidate will teach macroeconomics and/or econometrics and elective courses in the candidate’s field, although strong applicants from all fields will be considered. Opportunities exist for funding to pursue scholarship.
