Waseda University, a long-established private university located in central Tokyo, invites applications for one full-time, tenure-track* position in Macroeconomics in the Faculty of Political Science and Economics. The appointment will begin on September 1, 2019.

The successful candidate for the tenure-track position will be a promising junior scholar. Applicants for the position must demonstrate a record of research accomplishments consistent with their career stage.

1. Field: Macroeconomics
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
(1)　Be competent to conduct research in Macroeconomics.
(2)　Be competent to teach courses and conduct thesis advice/supervision regarding Macroeconomics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
(3)　Have a Ph.D. in hand or its equivalent in research experience.
(4)　Have prior teaching experience at university level (desirable rather than required).
(5)　Be able to teach in English.
(6)　Be able to teach in Japanese (desirable rather than required).
