The Rochester Institute of Technology’s Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning mid-August, 2019. We are looking for a teacher-scholar with research interests that fall within JEL code E: Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to our growing relationships with other disciplines at RIT such as Political Science, Psychology, and Public Policy. Teaching responsibilities will include Intermediate Macroeconomic Theory as well as other courses as needed by the department. We are seeking an individual who has the ability and interest in contributing to RIT’s core values, honor code, and statement of diversity.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
• Completion of Ph.D. in Economics prior to the date of hire.
• Possession of research interests that fall within JEL code E: Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics.
• Ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the college’s continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism, and individual differences.
• Some teaching experience as a teaching assistant or instructor of a course.
