Job Description:
The Department of Economics has openings for faculty positions for non-tenure track fixed-term appointments in Spring 2019 and Fall 2019. Areas of specialization may include the following: macroeconomics, trade, public finance, money and banking, mathematical economics, financial economics/econometrics, health/development economics and policy analysis (with applications to Egypt and Middle East). Strong practical quantitative and research methodology skills will be highly valued. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, engage actively in research and supervise masters' theses. All faculty must be willing to teach introductory courses.
Requirements:
Applicants must have a PhD in Economics or closely related field, preferably with a record of an active research agenda, teaching experience, thesis supervision and academic service.
