The College of Management of Technology (CDM) at EPFL invites applications for a faculty position in Economics and Management of Network Industries at the Institute of Technology and Public Policy (ITPP). We are seeking candidates either at the tenure track level (Assistant Professor) or the tenured level (Full Professor, Associate Professor) depending on the candidate’s track record.

Successful candidates will develop an independent and creative first-rate research program, participate and be committed to excellence in teaching (undergraduate, master, PhD and executive levels), supervise PhD students and provide substantive expertise to network industry firms, regulators and policymakers.

The College is seeking an outstanding economist of international stature and experience, able to link theory with practice who has worked extensively across various network industry sectors in matters of organizational transformation and strategy, de- and re-regulation and privatization as well as public service concerns. In particular, it is desired that the successful candidate is able to make a significant contribution to advancing the understanding of the role, challenges and possibilities offered by progress in digital technology and data science in the aforementioned sectors, in his or her research, teaching and work with industry partners. He/she will contribute to the newly formed Center for Digital Trust at EPFL.
