The School of Business and Economics is a dynamic academic unit at TRU with a large international student body. We offer a wide array of undergraduate and graduate-level certificate,diploma,and degree programs in business and economics including Master in Environmental Economics and Management,Master of Science in Environmental Economics and Management and Master in Business Administration.Programs are taught domestically and internationally using both on campus and distance delivery methods,stressing active student learning and the globalization of the business environment. The School is experiencing rapid growth in all programs and we expect to significantly increase our faculty contingent over the next few years.

We are seeking a capable educator to join our faculty beginning August 1,2018 for a tenure track position as a Lecturer in Economics.

Duties:
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics and will have opportunities to supervise student research.Faculty are also expected to make service contributions to their profession,department,school,institution/community by participating on various committees and contributing to other initiatives.

•PhD in Economics(completed/near completion).
•Candidates in all areas in economics are encouraged to apply.Preference will be given to the following areas:environmental economics,natural resources economics,econometrics and forecasting.
•Superior teaching abilities are required.
•Demonstrated service engagements are preferred
