The Department of Economics invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professorship. The position is for one year, with the potential for renewal for a second year contingent upon departmental staffing needs and a successful review of teaching. The successful candidate will teach core macroeconomics courses, as well as courses in their field of specialization at the sophomore and junior levels. The position starts in September 2018. Teaching load is five courses for the academic year. Completed applications, including curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, transcript, a writing sample, statement of teaching philosophy, and official summaries of teaching evaluations, must be received by May 1st, 2018. Applicants who do not already have legal permission to work in the United States will not be considered.
