The Department of Economics in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for one or more full-time non-tenure track Lecturer positions, beginning August 2018. Candidates must have earned their PhD at the time of appointment in Economics or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited university or international equivalent. Candidates should be able to teach a broad range of Economics courses to include, but not limited to, principles of economics.

Georgia is well known for its quality of life in both outdoor and urban activities (www.georgia.gov). Athens, Georgia is generally regarded as one of the best college towns in the United States. It is nicknamed “The Classic City” because of its architecture and vibrant music, art, and food scene. Athens is located about 60 miles northeast of Atlanta, with affordable real estate prices and a low cost of living. UGA (www.uga.edu) is a land grant/sea grant institution located approximately 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. The Terry College is housed in new, state-of-the-art facilities.
