The Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) is seeking a tenured Professor of Health Economics and Policy. Candidates should have a distinguished record of research and education in the areas of health economics and the economics of health policy. Candidates with doctoral level training in health economics, strong econometric skills, and actual policy experience are particularly encouraged to apply, but the position is also open to others with a doctoral degree in a field relevant to economics.

The successful candidate will lead a research program in the economics of health policy with a primary focus on American health policy. In addition, this individual will teach in the School’s Master’s degree program and in the University-wide PhD program and mentor junior faculty members.

Qualifications include a doctoral degree in economics or a closely related field; a strong background in research; a successful track record in graduate education; and the capacity to work collaboratively with other scholars and with interdisciplinary groups.
