Banco de la Republica, the Colombian central bank, is interested in hiring new and experienced Ph.D. economists to work at its research department in Bogotá.

The main tasks of the potential candidates would be to carry out high-quality policy-relevant research for publication in refereed journals, to write for the Bank's publications, and to produce analysis and reports for the Bank's senior management. The main areas of interest include macroeconomics, international finance, monetary economics and applied econometrics. A good command of spoken and written Spanish is desirable.
