The Department of Economics in the E. J. Ourso College of Business is seeking applications to fill an appointment in Econometrics at the Visiting Assistant or Visiting Associate Professor level (JEL Classification: C1 -- Econometric and Statistical Methods and Methodology: General). This position will begin in August 2018. The Department has a strong research orientation and offers B.A., B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. (http://business.lsu.edu/Economics/)
The visiting professor of Economics will provide undergraduate and graduate-level instruction in the Department of Economics.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics or related field. ABD candidates will be considered for a visiting assistant professor position if degree is conferred by time of appointment.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. An offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check. Application review will begin immediately and will continue until a candidate is selected.
