The Harris School of Public Policy seeks applicants for a one-year Postdoctoral Fellowship to be part of a team collaborating on a series of research projects using groundbreaking data on income, program participation, and consumption from linked administrative and survey sources. Ideal candidates will seek to co-author papers intended for ultimate publication. The Postdoctoral Fellow will have opportunities to interact with collaborators on these projects in academia, government agencies, and think tanks.

Candidates are required to have their Ph.D. in economics or related disciplines; previous research experience; proficiency in Stata; and experience with large, national survey data. Ability to use other statistical packages (SAS, R, Python) and knowledge of U.S. social insurance and welfare programs preferred. Applicants should have a demonstrated record of economic research and data analysis skills and the ability to review and prioritize work independently and effectively.
