Candidates will be appointed for a period of six years, conditionally on a positive mid-term evaluation in the third year. After a positive final evaluation at the end of the fifth year, candidates will be granted tenure after six years. The position carries a reduced teaching load in the first three years. Teaching is done in English.

All candidates with a strong background in microeconomics will be considered. The candidate will become a member of the Economics section. Within the section research focuses on understanding inequality, unemployment and digitization, as well as sustainability and innovation. Microeconomic research focuses on a.o. sustainable decision making, behavioral insights and economic policy, social and economic networks, and choice under complexity. Methodological approaches involve (behavioral) game theory, and experimental studies in the lab, field and online.
