The Harvard Kennedy School seeks to appoint a chaired professor in the field of criminal justice policy. Candidates should have distinguished records of research and engagements in a field such as criminal justice, law, sociology, political science, philosophy or economics, a commitment to teaching in professional degree programs, and practical involvement and/or governmental leadership in criminal justice policy and practice. It is hoped that the candidate could play a leading role in the Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management at the Kennedy School.
