University of California, Berkeley, Professors Benjamin Handel and Jonathan Kolstad are seeking a FULL-TIME research assistant for 7 months to 2 years, beginning as soon as possible. Professors Handel and Kolstad work on a number of projects related to health care economics, including research exploring the role of information technology in health care delivery.
You will work on projects related to health care economics. The work will be highly empirical nature, and require coding in STATA, MATLAB, and R as well as knowledge of (or willingness to learn) Latex formatting. The position will be active from December 11, 2017 to June 30, 2018. We are looking for candidates post-undergraduate who intend to pursue a PhD in economics or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Start Date – December 11, 2017 (negotiable) Location – Berkeley, CA
