The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University invites applications for a position at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor (with tenure) or Assistant Professor (tenure track) in fields related to international development to begin in the Fall of 2018. Relevant doctoral disciplines include economics, political economy, political science, and/or public policy, though others may be considered, with strong expertise in sub-fields directly related to development. While we are especially interested in candidates with strong quantitative skills, candidates bringing other approaches to analysis and research are also welcome.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong potential for outstanding research and teaching in the fields of development. Experience working in developing countries is a plus.
