Applications are invited for one tenure-track position in Economics at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field by the start of the Fall 2018 semester. Applicants specializing in Applied Microeconomics, including areas such as Labor Economics, Industrial Organization, Development Economics, Health Economics, and Financial Economics will be considered. Candidates capable of teaching undergraduate level courses (e.g., Principles of Economics and upper level, such as Micro Theory) in addition to MBA and Ph.D. seminars would be viewed especially favorably. The Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship is AACSB-accredited at the graduate and undergraduate levels and offers a Ph.D. in Business Administration that includes concentrations in Finance, Management, Marketing, and Information Systems.
