The position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and analysis of RCTs experiments, and contribute to proposing relevant and timely interventions. Under the supervision of the Policy Manager , lead will be responsible for setting the agenda of SESRI’s RCT interventions, oversee the successful implementation and completion of trails, monitor and observe the intervention and control groups closely, develop and write proposals, reports, and other outputs for variety of audiences.

Applicants should possess expert-level knowledge and understanding of social sciences, economics, or other related field, with a demonstrated record of design and analysis of randomized controlled trails for the purposes of policy evaluation. Three or above of relevant work experience is required, and knowledge of pertinent research and analytical methods.

Quantitative analytical skills, experience using survey data, and experience working on the Gulf in particular or Middle East in general will be considered favorably. A PhD in Economics or relevant social sciences field is required.

Compensation includes a competitive salary, along with health insurance and furnished housing. Applicants will have their flight and moving expenses paid for at the beginning and end of their appointment and one round-trip flight home annually. Educational allowances for up to 3 accompanying children.
