The Department of Economics and Finance invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Economics, beginning in Fall 2018.

Teaching assignments can vary but may include principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, intermediate microeconomics and courses in the candidate’s field. Preference will be given to candidates who can also teach business statistics.

Teaching load is nine hours per semester.

Faculty are expected to pursue research that leads to publications in refereed journals.

Other duties include participation in service at the department, college, and university levels; student advising, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Economics from an accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered, provided there is evidence that degree is near completion.
