The Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR) seeks a mid- or senior-level Research Economist who will work in IWPR’s DC office with a multi-disciplinary team of researchers on a variety of topics related to employment, education, income security, work and family, health and safety, and women and girls of color and teach one course per semester, hold office hours, and attend department committee meetings in the Program on Gender Analysis in Economics at American University.

Economics Ph.D. (preferably econometrics, micro or macro, labor, public policy, health, education, or poverty), a track record of grant acquisition, research on women, demonstrated interest in issues affecting women of diverse backgrounds, experience with US policy analysis and/or program evaluation, a record of peer-reviewed published research, and teaching experience are required.

Commensurate with experience, a competitive salary and benefits package will be offered. Title at AU to be determined.
