The SHU-UTS SILC Business School of Shanghai University (SILC) invites applications from candidates with strong research and teaching capabilities for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor in multi-disciplinary business areas.

SILC have multiple openings to start in the fall of 2018 in the following areas: Market Microstructure, Quantitative Finance, Corporate Finance, International Finance, Macro-finance, International trade and Economics, and Energy/Environmental Economics. Junior candidates are expected to complete a Ph.D. degree by August 2018 and show evidence of promising research and teaching. Senior candidates should have an established record of research and teaching. Initial appointment is based on a three-year probationary contract that is renewable. Qualified candidates will be considered for permanent appointments after a successful completion of their probation duties.

Candidates with demonstrated records/potentials will be recommended for joint appointment positions with University of Technology Sydney (UTS). The joint appointment is primarily based in Shanghai for 10-11 months per year to teach the dual degree programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels, with the remaining 1-2 months working in Sydney, Australia to fulfill its duties at UTS.
