Northwestern Polytechnical University is one of universities supported by two national education excellence projects (211/985). The School of Humanities, Economics and Law is a school of liberal arts in Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU).

We invite global applications for full rank tenure-track positions with expertise in areas of Applied Economics, Public Administration, Commercial Law or other closely related fields. We encourage applications from scholars who have overseas research experiences and are committed to research excellence.

Candidates at the level of Full and Associate Professor should have already secured a formal academic position in overseas reputational research institutes. We also expect candidates for Full Professor have internationally recognized academic achievements, and candidates for Associate Professor show a strong potential to influence their fields with their research and publications. Candidates for Assistant Professor should have a Ph.D. from major overseas universities in hand or firmly expected by August 2018, and show a strong potential for academic excellence.

We will provide new faculty joining us with globally competitive compensation package, including salary, research start-up funding, and housing at Xi’an. We give preference for candidates who are qualified for national fellowships, such as China’s 1000 plan, China’s Young 1000 plan and Yangtze River Scholarship, and will provide strong support in applying these scholarships.
