The Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics at North Dakota State University seeks to fill an opening at the assistant/advanced assistant professor level to be affiliated with the department’s Center for the Study of Public Choice and Private Enterprise (PCPE). Teaching responsibilities could include courses at the introductory and intermediate levels with additional opportunity to teach upper division and graduate level courses in the candidate’s field of expertise. Subject to candidate ability/desire, the teaching duties may include courses in finance. Teaching load will include three courses per year depending on departmental and PCPE needs and the candidate’s research and teaching interests.

Applicants are sought in all areas of applied economics with a research/teaching focus on policy. Candidates with a modern skillset in applied analytical techniques are particularly sought. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the PCPE mission through participation in and promotion of Center activities and programs. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist the director in planning and execution of PCPE events and programs.
