The Department of Econometrics and OR of Tilburg University's School of Economics and Management is looking for an Assistant Professor to strengthen our econometrics group. This group brings together about 20 faculty interested in applied and theoretical empirical work and closely collaborates with the Department of Economics, the Department of Finance and the Department of Marketing. Research interests range from health and labor economics over structural econometrics to classical work in econometric theory. There is a long standing tradition in Tilburg that emphasizes applied relevance and methodological rigor. More recently, we have increasingly been interested in the intersection between data science and econometrics.

Candidates in all areas of Econometrics, Applied (Micro-) Economics, Statistics, Data Science/Big Data, or a related field will be given serious consideration.

Tilburg University offers competitive European salaries, including a yearly holiday allowance and a year-end bonus. New colleagues from outside the Netherlands can apply for tax-free allowance equal to 30% of their taxable salary.
