The Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor positions in the tenure track. Responsibilities include developing independent, extramurally funded research programs in health policy, health economics, or health outcomes. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have a Ph.D and/or M.D. with training in health services/health policy research, or equivalent degree.

Applicants must have Ph.D. in Economics and/or M.D. with training in health services/health policy research, or allied field such as Public Policy or Health Services Research. The primary criterion for this position is excellence in research. Responsibilities include developing independent, extramurally funded research programs in health policy, health economics, or health outcomes. There will be some administrative and teaching responsibilities.

Applicants should submit online, a curriculum vitae and three reference letters. Submission of a research paper is optional. Kevin Volpp, MD, PhD, Vice Chair, Division of Health Policy is Chair of the Search Committee.  Applicants must have an Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
