We back up our commitment to research with a summer program that brings in top scholars to help the local scholars, a light teaching load, and compensation with substantial incentive pay for research success.

Compensation for new PhDs includes base salary and incentive pay based on publication success, a start-up research grant, housing allowance, and other fringe benefits. SWUFE is located in beautiful Chengdu, a city that is famous for its good food, relaxed atmosphere, and low cost of living.
