Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Directorate General Research (DG/R) of the European Central Bank (ECB) is interested in hiring economists with PhDs in economics or finance. DG/R has two main responsibilities: (i) conducting research in macroeconomics, financial economics, monetary and international economics, labour economics and macroeconometrics; and (ii) providing research-based policy advice in the above-mentioned areas, and applying conceptual frameworks and macroeconometric models for policy analysis.

Successful candidates will be expected to conduct and publish high-quality research and actively contribute to DG/R’s policy work.
