The Department of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for an Assistant Professor position in Microeconomic Theory to start fall 2018. This is a 9-month, full-time, tenure-track, continuing position. We expect candidates to engage in expanding our graduate program through teaching and research in Microeconomic Theory. Teaching responsibilities will include graduate core and undergraduate courses in Microeconomics, as well as other courses corresponding to the candidate’s interests. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics or related field, with a major field in Microeconomic Theory by August 2018. Candidates must demonstrate the potential to be successful in research, publication and teaching in Microeconomic Theory.
