The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in econometrics at the assistant professor level beginning August 2018. We are interested in candidates specializing in panel data and cross-sectional econometric models. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching and the supervision of dissertation research.
Minimum Qualifications are a Ph.D. or ABD (completion by August 2018) in economics or a closely related field with specialization in theoretical and applied econometrics. Preferred qualifications are a research specialization in cross-sectional/panel data econometrics, demonstrated excellence in the areas of applied econometrics, potential for publication in internationally recognized peer-reviewed outlets, potential for outstanding teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level, and potential to supervise PhD dissertations.
