The Department is seeking to appoint a full-time, tenure-track faculty member, at the rank of assistant or associate professor, to teach and conduct research in urban economics and housing policy, with an emphasis on the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong research profile in the economics of housing policy and land use. Scholarly work that includes research in social policy, urban inequality, poverty alleviation, public finance, or the assessment of urban development policies.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. or other appropriate terminal degree in urban planning, economics, finance, management, political science, public administration, public policy, or other related field with a proven commitment to research excellence and demonstrated scholarly potential. Applied work in the practice of housing development, public finance, or other related fields will be taken into account.
