The Department of Economics and Business at Hendrix College invites applications for a tenure track position for an Assistant Professor of Economics to begin in August 2018. The College seeks to extend its tradition of excellence in teaching and scholarship by attracting faculty who combine mastery of their disciplines with broad intellectual interests and commitment to the aims of a liberal arts college. Primary teaching duties will include Microeconomics, Econometrics, Economic Research, and Environmental Economics. The normal teaching load is three courses per semester. The terminal degree requirement is a Ph.D. in Economics which is expected by the start date; however, applicants who are ABD at the time of application will be considered.
