The College of Business Administration at Nicholls State University (AACSB accredited) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning January or August 2018.

The position requires teaching introductory Micro and Macro, upper-level undergraduate courses, and business economics in the MBA program. An interest in labor, public, or resource economics preferred but all fields will be considered. Most classes use the traditional face-to-face classroom, but Nicholls is increasingly utilizing hybrid and online formats. A typical semester is a nine-hour teaching load.

Successful candidates need to show an interest in innovative and high quality teaching, a commitment to scholarly research, and a willingness to engage in university and professional service. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in Economics or a related field by the start date. ABDs with a firm completion date before December 2018 may be considered.
