The Center for Economic Research (CIE) at ITAM invites applicants for tenure-track/tenured Assistant/Associate/Full Professor positions in Any Field, with special emphasis in Applied Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. CIE is a research group within the Department of Economics at ITAM committed to scientific excellence and oriented to the international academic community.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to research and should possess a Ph.D. in economics, but ABDs will be considered if there is a reasonable expectation of completion by September 2018. English is the working language of our center. Information about the center can be found at http://cie.itam.mx/. All candidates should submit vita, research papers and three letters of reference via econjobmarket.org.
Junior candidates should be available for a possible interview at the 2018 ASSA meetings. In order to be interviewed at the meetings, candidates should submit their applications by Dec. 11, 2017 however applications received by February 16, 2018 may be considered.
