The George Mason University Department of Economics seeks applications for a full-time, Tenured Associate or Full Professor beginning August 2018. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have an expertise in experimental economics or quantitative methods and will complement Mason’s additional strengths in Public Choice and/or Austrian Economics.
• Sustain a robust research program;
• Produce peer-reviewed publications;
• Mentor graduate students;
• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses; and
• Participate in faculty governance.

Required Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in economics; an accomplished publication record; active research in experimental economics or quantitative methods; and excellence in scholarship, and in graduate and undergraduate teaching.

The ability to teach advanced courses in experimental economics or quantitative methods is preferred.
