The Economics Department at Syracuse University seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant level in Urban Economics. Candidates must have completed (or expect to complete prior to appointment) a Ph.D. in Economics. Preference will be given to individuals with research interests that are centered in the urban area but with possible spillovers to global perspectives and/or other areas of emphasis in the department, including public economics, labor economics and econometrics. The ideal candidates for this position are individuals who can provide guidance and advice to doctoral students, and who can help us staff Ph.D. and undergraduate classes in urban economics.
