USAA is looking for applied econometricians who have experience developing or validating models used in the financial services industry. The team includes Quantitative Risk Analysts at the Lead, Senior and entry levels (I and II).

Minimum Requirements:
Depends on which position (Lead, Sr., I or II) and ranges from recent Master’s degree with no industry experience for the entry level I job to requirement for PhD and 4 years of work experience for the Lead job.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a model validation function at a major financial institution.
Masters or PhD degree in Economics with an econometric emphasis or in Statistics.
Experience developing statistical models at an insurance, bank, or investment company.
