Oglethorpe University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The main teaching areas are principles of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, Environmental Economics and/or Labor Economics and/or History of Economic Thought. This position will support the evening program, and teaching in the University’s Core Program is expected, see www.oglethorpe.edu for more information. A successful candidate must demonstrate a high-level commitment to effective undergraduate teaching. A Ph.D. in Economics is required by the start date in August 2018.

Normal faculty teaching load is 3/3 on a nine-month contract. Service, including student advisement and university/divisional committee and assessment activities are required.
