The University of Colorado Denver seeks one full-time tenure track Assistant Professor/Senior Assistant Professor of Commodity Finance/Commodity Economics in the Business School at the Downtown Denver Campus. The position is 40% research, 40% teaching, and 20% service. The normal teaching load consists of 4 courses (3 hours each) during a 9-month contract. The applicant hired will be expected to be active in high quality research, excellent teaching, and good service. In particular, the applicant hired will work closely with J.P. Morgan Endowed Chair in commodity finance and participate actively in the first ever academic program focused on commodities. A doctoral degree in Finance, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Energy Economics, Mineral Economics or closely related fields from an AACSB accredited (or equivalent) institution.
