The Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics at The Ohio State University is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor with teaching, research and outreach responsibilities in regional economics and rural development. Applicants with specific interests in poverty, inequality, entrepreneurship, education, labor migration, or other topics relevant to rural development are encouraged to apply.

The appointee will have an academic year appointment in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics with competitive salary and benefits package and is expected to develop and maintain a world-class research program in their field of inquiry, and teach the equivalent of two to three classes in our undergraduate, masters, and/or PhD programs.

Applicants must possess a PhD in economics, applied economics, agricultural economics, or related field, or expect to complete all degree requirements before August 1, 2018.
