The Economics Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for two Tenure-Track positions at the Assistant-Professor level in all areas of economics. The successful candidates will demonstrate the capacity for high-quality research and teaching. A completed Ph.D. in Economics is required by 1 July 2019.

Qualified applicants should submit an application on-line at http://unc.peopleadmin.com/postings/128601. The application should include a cover letter, CV, statements of research and teaching interests, and three letters of recommendation. (Finalists for the positions will be asked to provide a fourth letter of recommendation at a later stage of the search.) The applicant should provide a job-market paper and can include other representative research papers.

Review of applications will begin on November 15; submission of applications prior to the beginning of the review process will guarantee full consideration. The search will continue until the positions are filled. Interviews will take place at the ASSA meetings in Philadelphia in January 2018.
