MacEwan University inspires students through a powerful combination of academic excellence and personal learning experiences. The Department of Anthropology, Economics and Political Science in the Faculty of Arts and Science at MacEwan University invites applications for a Tenure-Track appointment in Economics, at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2018, subject to final budgetary approval.

We are seeking applicants with primary expertise in macroeconomic theory and policy. Ability to teach undergraduate courses in monetary economics, econometrics and other areas of economics is an asset. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory economics courses as well.

Preferred candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Economics and will demonstrate a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and an ongoing research program.
